Diane ARCAS GOCMEZ

Diane Arcas Gocmez was born in Izmir in 1972 and graduated from the International Relations Department at Boğaziçi University in 1995. She is currently completing her MBA studies, specializing in Shipping and Logistics at Middlesex University. 

Diane began her professional career at Arkas in 1993 and has worked in a variety of different jobs and positions in the Agency Services Group. In 2000, while working as the Arkas Shipping Manager at the Istanbul branch, she also worked on Arkas’ Corporate Development Project. While working on this project from 2000 to 2007, she set up and managed the SAP accounting and finance information system modules, the budget management systems and the central purchasing and supervision functions for these systems, all of which she still currently manages. 

In 2007, Diane took over the management of the Logistics Group, and is currently serving as the President of the Logistics Group. 

Diane is motivated by working with people who are visionaries, dynamic, open to new developments and who live out the values of the company. Working together with her staff, she plans to take Arkas to the top of the logistics sector. 

She is currently receiving advanced training on the management of the Arkas Marine Fleet, which was ranked 23rd among ship-owners around the world in 2013. Diane enjoys questioning the status quo, following professional and managerial developments, and applying them in her life quickly. She spends most of her free time pursuing her academic studies.

Onur GOCMEZ

Onur Göçmez was born in 1977. In 2000, he graduated from Istanbul University’s School of Economics - Public Administration Department. In 1999, he stared his professional career at a Call Center in the Customer Services sector.

As of 2003, he worked in the Logistics and Transportation sector as a supervisor in the directorate of the inspection committee at Yurtiçi Cargo Services and as the Istanbul regional manager at CEVA Logistics.

In 2012, he started working in Arkas Logistics as the Operation Manager, Fleet Management Director and Istanbul Regional Manager. In 2014, he contributed greatly to the group with his experience after being appointed as the Turkey Manager of Arkas Logistics Transport Services and in 2015 he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager.
In addition, he is responsible for strategy, Human Resources, and Security & Administrative Affairs functions of Arkas Group.
He was appointed as General Manager for all functions and departments of Arkas Logistics in 2017.

As of January 2020, he has been working as CEO of Arkas Logistics managing domestic branches, foreign branches, central departments and Executive Board.
 
Onur Göçmez is married and has three children.

Serhat KURTULUS

Serhat Kurtuluş was born in 1980 in Istanbul. In 2000, he graduated from Istanbul University’s School of Economics - Business Management Department. He completed his post graduate program in 2007 at the same university. In 1998, he started his career at Pamukbank, and subsequently moved on to Sümerbank and Çelebi Ground Handling. He then joined Yurtiçi Cargo Services and worked as a Supervisor, Bursa Regional Manager and Istanbul Anatolia Regional Manager respectively. In 2012, Serhat Kurtuluş joined Borusan Logistics as Turkey Manager of Partial Transportation. In 2014, after two years, he started working in Arkas Logistics as an Operational Supervising Manager. Due to his contributions to the group, he was appointed as Turkey Manager of Terminal Services in 2015 and he has been also responsible for managing and executing Job Safety and Information Technology strategies at Arkas Logistics.

In 2018, he was appointed as Assistant General Director and in addition to the Terminal Services Segment, he is responsible for the Domestic Railway Department, Arkas Rail A.S. Sales Management, BTK (Baku-Tbilisi-Kars) Line Sales Operations Management, Global Tender and Projects Department Management.
As of May 2019, he was appointed as Sales and Business Development Assistant General Manager and in the same year, he was appointed as Assistant General Manager, responsible for managing all domestic functions of Arkas Logistics.

As of January 2020, he has been working as General Manager of Arkas Logistics managing all group functions (Turkey) and also he has been Executive Board member of Arkas Logistics.

Serhat Kurtuluş is married and has 2 children.
